Hubby took off with the camera today, along with the sock pictures, so I’ll introduce you to Grace, our retired greyhound. We adopted her four years ago from Greyhound Pets of America-Minnesota. If you are ever looking for a dog, I highly recommend adopting a racer! They are wonderful, sweet dogs who deserve a nice home after having a tough life in the racing industry, which is not the kindest place to be a dog. She is the dearest girl you could ever have!
She looks pretty skinny now, as she’s getting over a long stomach bug, and she’s a very finicky eater as is. But she is now on the mend and should be fattened up pretty soon (or at least fat by her skinny standards!:-)
She looks like a total sweetie.
Grace looks like a very sweet dog. We have seen a few at the off-leash dog park, and then the rescue group at the Renaissance festival. They (the dogs) were wearing these fabulously cool collars that looked like they were made from fancy woven ribbon.
Grace is a cutie. I have friends who adopted a Greyhound too and he is the sweetest dog. Kudos to you for adopting a Greyhound!!!
She looks like a sweetheart. We know people in the neighborhood who have an adopted greyhound through the same organization. He is so shy that he’s afraid of our basset hound, but he’s a doll.
What a cute dog. I just love Greyhounds, they are wonderful dogs.
wow….
I adopted a non-racing greyhound (she has a slipping kneecap, OK for a pet NOT good for racing)
her only ‘fault’ is that she trips over the baby seat :>)
….but greyhoungs DO make awesome companions
