For my niece’s third birthday:
Despite the fact that I sewed the ruffle on the top of the pants rather than the bottom (eek!) I was able to recover by cutting them off, and reattaching them with a ribbon to cover the edging. Nice recovery, huh?
(blurry again, drat!)
I cast on for two soakers this weekend. I neglected sewing up the Baby Surprise because of it, not that it is much sewing anyway. I predict a finishing night this week if I can get motivated.
Soakers. I’ve got soakers on the brain, myself. After I finish Anna’s sweater I think I need to start some Baby Knitting. I keep telling myself that I’ve got plenty of time and that I can keep knitting projects out of my stash in the meantime. The fact of the matter is, however, that I’m nearly halfway through this pregnancy already! I want to knit a couple of pairs of soakers and a little baby sweater, too.
I’m looking forward to seeing what you knit up for the newest memeber of the Knitty Famiy.
EEK! those are so extremely adorable! do they come in XXL ladies size? 😉
p.s. a perfect save with the trim! works everytime!
Very nice recovery. That outfit is so cute!
Very cute!!
Oh my! That little outfit is darling! Very nice recovery on the ruffle. I would have been so upset that I would have tossed the whole thing out the window. But that’s me, the one who doesn’t like her sewing machine. 🙂
Cute outfit! I bet she will love it! Soakers are so quick but I find myself taking forever to do the finish work. Ribbing and I cord, bleh.
so cute!
did you use a pattern? I may have to find it to make something for my nieces.
Well, I must say, you do ruffles well. Is that a sign?
Very cute, and excellent recovery. 🙂
Sweet!
Fabulous!!!! And I do think the ruffle recovery was rather brilliant…
So darn cute! I love what you’ve done with the T-shirt!
Very pretty outfit!
It is gorgeous, I love the colors
